Camaxtli waited in the lift with her. It did not take long to reach their destination. Even though they were way underground the lift was quick. It took them about a minuet to reach their destination. Cam stepped out of the lift and stopped as a beam of red light scanned him. Once again after a few seconds the computer voice sounded, “DNA identified, Karrl Draven Garm, code name Camaxtli.” He looked up and spoke loud and clear,
“Computer accept new DNA pattern, status Shade Trainee, name Nayeli Brechin.”
He stepped forward for her to get scanned. All new trainees will be scanned for their DNA, then when it’s in the databanks the computer will trace up their details, no matter where they’re from. Cam didn’t really know the technical side of the stuff, he left it to their engineer who dealt with all the computer stuff, or as he calls it, huh? He turned around and waited for a few seconds before speaking,
“Step onto d’a white dot ‘n’ wait f’a a few seconds as d’a beam takes y’a DNA code ‘n’ puts it int’a d’a databanks.”

She got on the lift and then got off when they got to their destination. She looked around for a moment, it was strange being a new time, but she did not mind it, she wanted to be a part of this team. Soon, it would be the outside world that would be strange and this place would be home. As she waited, Mr. Garm once again got scanned. Too many security things, at least, in her honest opinion, but then again, it was needed.
As she waited, she heard the computer accepted his and then he moved, allowing her to step up slightly. “Computer accept new DNA pattern, status Shade Trainee, name Nayeli Brechin.” She had not even said her full name, but now that she thought about it, Nayeli Echo Brechin was on her folder, so she did not think anything of it. She looked at him for a moment, then down at the white dot. Did she step there? “Step onto d’a white dot ‘n’ wait f’a a few seconds as d’a beam takes y’a DNA code ‘n’ puts it int’a d’a databanks.”
She smiled and looked over at him. "Do you read minds now, because I was just thinking to myself, Do I step there?" She said, laughing slightly as she stepped on the dot and waited. She did not know what information he would need, or if he would need to see her back and stuff. If he did, she would show him, even though she did not like to show it, she would show him the curse her father gave to her.

The red beam appeared again, then a second one. The first beam went vertically, the second beam went horizontally. Then came a pair of metallic hands holding a mask of some sort. The hands placed the mask on her face, and then a beam passed from the mask over her face. The hands went away, and after a few seconds there was a holographic image of Nayeli, with a picture on the side of a DNA pattern and a picture of one of her eyes.
Then, a few seconds after that, the computer sounded again, “DNA read, catalogued and memorised, name Nayeli Echo Brechin, gender female, age 18, place of origin Brechin Scotland, powers Anamorphic Capabilities, Animal Commutative Skill, and Combat Photomancy. Welcome to Shade Miss Brechin, may you fair better then most.”
Cam smiled for a second and stepped towards the hallway. He had a good feeling about her; he always did when someone with potential came into Shade’s midst. He stopped and looked up at the dull lights. They did this when no one, or only a few people, where down here, saved on electricity. He raised his hand to point his palm upwards and raised it a bit further. As he did the lights grew in brightness. He looked over his shoulder and smiled,
“Jus’ one ov’ me many talents. Oh ‘n’ t’a answer y’a question I don’t read minds, but…”
I ‘ave some sort ov’ telepathic skills, I call it telepathic projection.
“Welcome t’a Shade Miss Brechin. Come, I’ll take y’a on a tour.”

She was a little spooked when she saw all the beams, but she was perfectly still, the mask came over her face and she looked ahead. She watched as the stuff went away and she saw her self before her. She watched it for a moment, knowing this was pretty big stuff. She watched it for a moment and then the computer said something and she smiled. Everything was correct, but she was working on more animal skills.
She smiled when it was all over, at least he knew now about her combat thing, which was fine by her. She liked to learn new things, she enjoyed doing that, but she mostly enjoyed being the animal she really was. She shouldered her bag better and walked into the hallway. She watched him as he made the light grow brighter and then looked around for a moment.
She watched as he looked over her shoulder and smiled. “Jus’ one ov’ me many talents. Oh ‘n’ t’a answer y’a question I don’t read minds, but…” She smiled slightly. "I ‘ave some sort ov’ telepathic skills, I call it telepathic projection... Welcome t’a Shade Miss Brechin. Come, I’ll take y’a on a tour.” She smiled and nodded as she walked with him.
"Thank you Mr. Garm," She said to him as she walked. "But, now that you know all my powers, I guess I need to tell you what few I am comfortable with the most." She said, a smile on her face as she looked back ahead. She had so many she wanted to master to help her with travels or also to help her in fights.

Cam walked forward and listened to her. She chuckled when he called him Mister Garm. He personally did not like being called by his last and a being called Mister, it made him feel old. The only reason why he let it happened was because of formalities. He continued walking seemingly know exactly where he was going. Of course Cam knew, it was his building. He stopped near a large pair of double doors. He turned around and smiled,
“No need, not yet anyways, I will find out w’at y’a are ‘n’ aren’t comfortable wi’d, ‘n’ please call me Karrl, or Cam. D’a only time I want y’a t’a call me Mr. Garm, or Camaxtli is w’en we’re in a formal situation, ‘n’ only Camaxtli w’en we’re on a mission, w’en y’a start goin’ on d’em.”
He then turned towards the double doors. He easily pushed the two large metallic doors open. Inside was a large room, on the walls were all kinds of training weapons. He would not let the trainees spar with each other with real weapons. Inside the room, as well as the weapons, were a guy and a girl. They were fighting, the moves were fluent and precise. The skill they had most martial artists did not have, and what’s more, they were only trainees, Ok, they were about to become full members, but they were still trainees none the less. He looked over at Nayeli and smiled,
“D’is is our firs’ stop, d’a training room.”

She heard him chuckle after she called him Mr. Garm, which she found odd, since her father had beat it into her to call everyone Mister when she did not know them well. Karrl was one of the few she did not know at all, except that he was the leader and he was very good looking, she had to add in her mind as they walked. He knew this building, so she followed him as they moved, not getting side him since she knew he might turn and she did not want to be in his way. She stayed a few steps behind, perfect for listening and perfect for moving with him.
He turned around a few moments later and she stopped to look at him. “No need, not yet anyways, I will find out w’at y’a are ‘n’ aren’t comfortable wi’d," She could not help but think that she was really comfortable with alot of things when it came to using her powers. "‘n’ please call me Karrl, or Cam. D’a only time I want y’a t’a call me Mr. Garm, or Camaxtli is w’en we’re in a formal situation, ‘n’ only Camaxtli w’en we’re on a mission, w’en y’a start goin’ on d’em.” She nodded, remembering that quickly in her head as he started walking to a set of double doors.
There first stop was a large room, weapons of all kind and knives. She had fallen in love with knives, she never knew why but she looked at them first when they entered the room. She allowed her eyes to zoom in, like that of a hawk so she did not move towards them. She looked at every weapon and then allowed herself to look at the pair training. Each move was fluent and she took every move in, her mind registering it and learning it quickly. She watched how they landed and how they dodge, she started putting her own twist to things in her mind.
She found them very interesting. “D’is is our firs’ stop, d’a training room.” She looked over at him and then back at the two. She knew she would enjoy training, at least, some of it. She had trained herself to master the animal transformations, now it was up to her to help herself master the combative of things.
"Seems like fun, if you ask me, even though it is part of training," She found a bunch of things fun, but as she turned her head, her eyes landed on something she hated most of all. A whip that was possible used for training that she might freeze on. She lifted her hand to her shoulder as she looked at it, rubbing the scars through her shirt. "Can we go to the next stop? I would like to see this whole place." She looked at him and waited, hoping he would not see her reason for wanting to get the hell out of her before she went into flashback mode.

Cam nodded seeing her expression. He wondering why she was like that, but he was not going to ask question, not yet anyways. There was a number of things she must see and understand to before she started her training. She was lucky, a little late, but lucky none the less. The new trainees where about to start their first level of training soon. He walked away after closing the door. As he walked towards the next area he spoke,
“There are a number of subjects you will learn when you are here, you will be given a curriculum book when you collect you basic gear, which all trainee will have. There are three levels of basic training a trainee must master before they can go for the test.
The test will give you the chance to show what you have learnt in a simulated mission environment. Of course you can opt for higher training, which will be a two month course which is more extreme then the three levels put together, if you pass this course you will automatically start at a level three ranking in Shade.
There are ten levelled rankings within the organisation, so far we have five full members of Shade, two of them at level one, two at five, and one at six. Then you have me and the other leader of Shade who are at level ten.”
He stopped at another double door and opened it. It was quite different from the first one. The first training room look more like a dojo when this one, well it was a gun range. He looked at Amelia and spoke,
“As well as close quarter fighting you will learn gunmanship.”

She moved quickly through the place, knowing that she did not want to be around that whip for very long. She knew one day she would have to train with it, but until that day came, she would stay as far away from it as she could. She did not know what she would do when that day came... Would she freeze? Would she flash back? Would she grow with pure unknown anger? She did not know and honestly, her lack of knowledge was scaring her.
She walked with Karrl, the boss that she was already growing to like and enjoy his company. “There are a number of subjects you will learn when you are here, you will be given a curriculum book when you collect you basic gear, which all trainee will have. There are three levels of basic training a trainee must master before they can go for the test." She nodded, listening to everything that he told her. Just like school, from what it sounded, but something told her a lot more fun. "The test will give you the chance to show what you have learnt in a simulated mission environment. Of course you can opt for higher training, which will be a two month course which is more extreme then the three levels put together, if you pass this course you will automatically start at a level three ranking in Shade." She went ahead and shook her head.
"I think I will stick to the basic, no need to get ahead of m'self," She said, looking ahead as she walk, a hand still on her shoulder, as if there was pain there, but in actuality there was no pain, not even a hint of pain.
They continued, moving through the place and she looked at everything. "There are ten levelled rankings within the organisation, so far we have five full members of Shade, two of them at level one, two at five, and one at six. Then you have me and the other leader of Shade who are at level ten.” She nodded. She wanted to one day be a level ten, but it would take a long while. Maybe she would get lucky, maybe she would do great and run up the pole. As they walked through another set of doors, her eyes went along the gun range. She was not very amazed, she could shot a weapon, at least, a rifle for the most part. “As well as close quarter fighting you will learn gunmanship.”
She looked over at him and then nodded. She looked around for a moment and then looked back at the range. She would love to find a place she could have for her own fun. She must of been the first animal in the whole place. Maybe they could set her up for animal training... Who knew? "Can't wait."

Cam closed the doors again. He looked at her; she seemed to be not that impressed. He didn’t blame her, he didn’t much like using guns, well, he could use one well enough, but his simple attacks could prove more powerful then a machine gun. He would show her that later. He walked on forward. He looked around, and saw a few doors, but did not bother to open them. He looked back at Nayeli as he spoke,
“D’a rooms we just passed were classrooms. As well as fighting training all members of Shade must have at least a basic knowledge of tactics ‘n’ theoretical combat. A member ov’ Shade must be level three to apply f’a a assistant instructor, ‘n’ level five f’a full instructor. We ‘ave five instructors so far, I teach close quarters combat, me fellow leader teaches Gunmanship, we ‘ave an instructor f’a both tactics and theoretical combat, ‘n’ one instructor f’a…”
He stopped and typed in a code quickly again. The big door slid open and they entered a big plain room. It did not look like much, but looks could be deceiving. He took a few steps forward and then a step sideward so she could see the room. He smiled as he spoke,
“This is MESS, or Mission ‘n’ Environment Simulation System. It may not look like much, but, d’is room is a highly evolved simulation room. Y’a will learn how t’a use y’a powers t’a full effect, plus y’a will take y’a final exam here. Let me show y’a w’at it can do. Computer, run F21.”
There was a humming from somewhere and the room seemed to swirl. When the room finished moving about they were standing in the middle of a forest. He smiled and went over and leant on one of the trees. This room was acquired a while ago; it was an altered version of the Danger Room.

She really was not impressed at all by the guns, they were really just there in her opinion, just give her something simple, like a blade or something. As they walked, she fell behind slightly, not much, just enough to let him lead. He had a nice butt, she would give him that, but she knew better then to allow herself to focus on it too long, she made herself look back up at him.
They were coming to another set of doors, passing many as they walked. She looked back at them confused. We ‘ave five instructors so far, I teach close quarters combat, me fellow leader teaches Gunmanship, we ‘ave an instructor f’a both tactics and theoretical combat, ‘n’ one instructor f’a…” She nodded and looked back ahead. She wanted to get started, but this was going to be needed. She fixed her bag on her back, allowing it to settle on her right side like normal.
He then stopped again, typing in codes and she watched, but he was way to fast. The room was plain, but it was rather big and she could not help but look around and see that something was up. Computer, run F21.” She smiled as it became the forest and she turned, looking at it.
She wanted so badly to change, to become something so different then what she was now. She let her bag fall, landing right in her hand as it was about to slip away and she turned back to Karrl. "This is so awesome." The biggest smile was on her face.

Cam smiled as she looked around at the simulated forest. He had figured she would like this program, people with anamorphic capabilities seemed to be like that, since he had known a few in his time. He looked around at the forest himself. Even though he was a fire wielder he felt at home within the wooden boundaries.
Maybe it was because his late friend, Herne was a person who was not only a person who could change into animals he could summon them from the tattoos he had on his flesh and speak to them. He missed his friend dearly, and he was keeping a promise to his brother of bond, he was looking after his daughter, Gaia.
He sighed, it was time to move on, he raised his hand and clicked his fingers and the forest disappeared. He looked at Echo and signaled for her to follow him. He walked out of MESS. He made his way to a room, it was just a pair of sliding doors. As he approached them they slid open. When he stepped in,
"This is the armory, y'a will get all ov' y'a supplies 'ere, please could y'a step ont'a d'a red dot."
